Belgrade's Orchestra has been invited to represent the State of Montana for Celebrations of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day in France.  These Celebrations will take place in June of 2024.  Orchestra students will perform throughout the Normandy area and in Paris.

Our Performances will include: 

A Wreath Laying Ceremony at the American Cemetary in Normandy

Performance in a town liberated by Americans following the D-Day operations

Performance(s) in Paris

Students are fundraising to cover the cost of their trip, and we could use your help.  The cost per child is aproximately $4500 for 7 nights and 9 days.  We want as many students to have this amazing experience as possible.  To have the honor of representing Montana for this Celebration of those who sacrificed their time, their dreams, their health, and their lives is privilage that will impact these students for the rest of their lives.  They will carry this experience with them year after year.  

Contributions will be used to help with expenses outside of student costs (renting cellos and basses that are too large to take with us, paying for some meals, additional equipment, or travel costs), help students to fill in the gaps of paying for their trip, and possibly provide scholarships to students otherwise unable to go.
