Help Uplift Education Read!

The Dallas County School Engagement Committee is raising funds to purchase BOOKS! for the students of Uplift Education.

There are many theories about education but there is one fact. The key to doing well in school -- and getting into college -- is reading. Reading improves grades and test scores and is the best predictor of academic success. It relieves stress, increases empathy, and, also, it’s fun. At Uplift, we call our students scholars.  Our purpose is to create an environment that promotes the literacy skills our scholars need to become the next generation of thinkers and doers in the community.  And the way to do that is to put as many books as possible into their hands. Please help us with a contribution.
