I’m requesting support from sponsors to assist in helping our campus create cleaning and hygiene kits for our families. Our campus located in the heart of the Dove Springs Community in the southeast part of Austin, TX. Consuelo Mendez Middle School is a Title I school in Austin ISD and serves 583 students. As Parent Support Specialist, I have been reflecting on these unprecedented times and the support I'm able to provide and organize for our students and families. My hope is to offer Mendez families a cleaning and hygiene kit with the intent to help meet their family’s basic needs during the trying situation Covid-19 has caused.
