HORACE MANN'S COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN

The purpose of this campaign is to create a national model experiential outdoor learning space at Horace Mann Elementary School, which will support and maintain the high quality of learning throughout the school.

The campaign is designed to address what was unfunded in the school's recent construction effort that is essential to realizing our vision for purpose-driven and innovative learning within and around our campus walls.

Your support will help us reach our financial goal of $350,000 which will:

• Provide funds for critical projects to complete the physical campus plan:
  • A perimeter fence
  • A nature trail
  • A play structure for older children
• Establish our rooftop Urban Farm as the source of sustainable and healthy food for students and community events

By supporting this campaign your donation will:

• Support the school's committment to growing a green and healthy community of learners by expanding our wellness and mindfulness programs impacting hundreds of students today as well as future classes and generations.
• Provide the entire Horace Mann community of students, parents, alumni and community neighbors a physical plant to learn from, enjoy and explore 
• Provide a hands-on opportunity for all students to learn the benefits of "farm to table," incorporating sustainable agriculture and providing health benefits.
