Description and purpose of grant: My grant, Cultivating Cultures, will provide materials for a full year's worth of cultural lessons and activities at New Tech and Victory Place. My objective with this grant is to teach learners about other cultures and cultivate awareness of cultural holidays/ celebrations that these cultures celebrate.

Implementation process: I plan to provide Flex Friday sessions at New Tech and Genius Hour lessons at Victory Place. There are 30-40 learners in both programs at Victory Place at any given time and I can hold sessions of 30-60 depending on how many sessions I can give and how many learners the room I'm using will hold. Because this grant is for a full year's worth of activities, it will continue the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.

In the event my grant is not fully funded, $100 would get started on this project. Honestly, any amount donated will help me to purchase supplies.
