Lee Flexible Classroom Initiative

Although our school is 77 years old, we are striving to create classroom space that is innovative and student-centered. Flexible learning environments that incorporate items such as stability balls, carpet and yoga mats, and ergonomic stools invite creativity, increase teacher and student interaction, and keep kids moving in the classroom. These flexible designs also empower students by giving them a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them.

Funds raised during the Lee Flexible Classroom Initiative will enhance the learning environment in our classrooms and improve student outcomes through innovative classroom designs that include:

·       Active seating stools,

·       Loft space,

·       Stability ball seats, and

·       Wobble cushions.
