The Gatesville ISD Education Foundation thrives on donations to support our efforts in funding grant requests submitted by our local educators which in turn helps our children. Founded in 2013, the foundation’s mission is to support our teachers by funding their requests for “extra’’ projects, materials or supporting items for their classroom that are not normally funded through the district.  We support innovative classroom teaching, to inspire learning in new directions, and to maximize academic opportunities for Gatesville ISD students.

The goals of the Gatesville ISD Education Foundations are:

• Enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students.
• Support and recognize staff for innovative efforts and exemplary teaching.
• Build community awareness for Gatesville Education Foundation.
• Involve the community in assuring a quality education for the leaders and workers of tomorrow.

The applications are required to submit a detailed request and follow-up with the Board on implementation, summary of success and pictures for one year after the requests are granted.  The nonprofit organization is led by a board of 5 board members along with 2 school board members and our Superintendent.

All requests from the Educators are carefully considered by board members.  Your consideration of a donation to the Gatesville ISD Education Foundation is greatly appreciated.
