Natalie Estrada is an all around all-star Akins Eagle. In addition to Austin Corps, she is the News Editor for the Eagle Eye newspaper, the captain of the Akins Folklorico, a member of the Akins Red Cross Club and the Latinos Unidos club. I am so proud of her and honored to be her teacher.
The NLC Congressional City Conference will be held from March 14th through March 16th. Austin Youth Council students will also be able to visit museums and a college of their choice.
Although Austin Youth Council covers the costs of flights, transportation, hotel and two meals a day. We are asking for your support and help in preparing Natalie for her trip.

This sounds like a great opportunity for a deserving student to participate and learn about government and leadership.
