We are a small Title 1 school in Northeast Austin.  WE want to give our wonderful students the special opportunity to go to Schlitterbaun as an end of year celebration trip!  Our students will perform three contrasting pieces of music for a panel of judges.  Based on their performance they can earn multiple trophies.  After the performances they will get to enjoy the park! 

We have not had the opportunity to have a traditional end of year celebration due to COVID.  Our 8th grade students have been waiting for this trip for two years.  For many of our students this will be their first time going to a park like Schlitterbahn.

A big part of middle school band and orchestra is fostering a sense of community through performance, activities, and field trips such as an end of year trip.  Our students work hard and also fundraise during the school year.  Even with their fundraising efforts this small trip is still a big expense for our students

Help us celebrate all of the hard work they have done this year and give them a chance to feel successful.
