this year at Kenmore by completing the funding for our costumes!

Kenmore Middle School is unique in that it teaches the curriculum through arts
and communications technology. With a longstanding partnership with the
Kennedy Center, Kenmore dance program offers incredible performances each year.
The potential to raise overall student development and motivation by being
active through dance, is tremendous.
You may not realize the impact of dance. Through dance, the students:
- Learn self expression
- Build self confidence
- Develop team work
- Learn basic music theory
- Enhance math skills
We have raised 50% of the funds needed with $1610 left to raise. Our dedicated students work through lunch, TA and after school to realize their
potential and make the productions the best that they can be. Many of our
dancers families are not able to fund the cost of the costumes so we are asking
for your help.

Who we are:
Kenmore Middle School in Arlington Virginia, teaches the curriculum through
arts and communications technology. Kenmore is proud to be entering its
17th year with an arts focus program that includes a longstanding partnership
with the Kennedy Center. Dance is a core part of the Kenmore experience for
many students and offers and option for those students that are not involved in
other sports to be part of a team working towards a goal.
