Who we are:
The staff at Kenmore Middle School is committed to providing educational programs that stimulate academic excellence and intellectual curiosity. It is our expectation that every child who attends Kenmore will plan to attend college.
Self confidence and health play a key role in intellectual curiosity and in the overall development of the student during the Middle School years.
We need your help:
Help us support an initiative from the Physical Education Department which will help improve self-confidence, self esteem, and health for the students at Kenmore.
The AssessPro Rep Addition push up tester uses technology to monitor the quality and the quantity of push ups, helping students to:
- - Improve the amount of push ups they achieve on the Virginia State mandated fitness test.
- - Increase overall upper body strength
- - Increase self-confidence and self esteem as they are able to improve their performance
- - Help improve general fitness and health
It really works! We have seen great results in the areas listed above with the machines we already have in place! The push up tester also adds an added element of fun to the push up routine.
Your donation will help us purchase 15 push up testers so that all of our students have access to one. Each machine is $75 (includes shipping) and we need 15 to support the student population.
