MHS Fine Art Funding

We are a growing school and our needs are growing too!  We offer a wide variety of Fine Arts classes on a very limited budget.  We want to take the burden off our students and parents by providing all the supplies and equipment for our classes.  

HELP!!!!

As of the 2017-2018 school year, our current budget only allows for $5 per student per year!  This is not enough to give our students the fine arts experience they deserve and allow them to create quality work to take them to competitions at both state and nation wide!

Currently we are asking for $10 per semester to help supplement supplies that are used throughout the year and recover supplies that students use for their artwork and take home with them.  As an art department we can order supplies for the semester at a very economical value due to purchasing in bulk, rather than on an individual basis.

We are raising money for 500 students in the MHS Visual Arts program in order to be able to work with real world fine arts materials (not arts and crafts supplies).  Below are our fundraising goals:

Clay and clay materials: $1000

Paints, canvases, and painting materials: $1000

Printmaking and Drawing supplies: $500

Contest fees, travel for contests, and student conferences (pending student participation) up to $1000

Total of $3500
