There's nothing like the real thing, baby! The "conversation" between a young child and an animal is priceless!
Young children learn best with hands on learning. Four year olds are naturally curious and providing this kind of learning opportunity will feed the budding scientist in them. They will be practicing observation skills as they hold and feed the animals. Students will learn about animals' bodies and the varied needs of living things. Their vocabulary will grow and come alive. Students will have firsthand knowledge to draw from and to start making connections to the big, wide world. Your support will give 65 young students at Pleasant Hill Elementary a valuable experience that will help foster a love of learning and discovery.
We appreciate our teachers. For all you do. You are like a second parent to our children. Thank you
In memory of Ambers father Justin Dominguez who passed away 06/11/2016.
Animals are the source of unlimited innocence and love. Special needs children are as well. This can only be beneficial to these children. Good on ya!
Animals are a great way to connect and teach children on many levels! An in house petting zoo at school is a wonderful opportunity that some of these children may not otherwise have.
