Dear Parents,

Our Virtual Enterprise (VE) class has an opportunity to combine a college tour/field trip by attending a regional Virtual Enterprise trade show on the campus of San Diego State University (which happens to be my Alma Mater!) on Friday, December 13. Participating in this trade show will introduce us to the world of Virtual Enterprise, as we viewother schools’ booths, displays, and products. This exposure will deepen your child’sunderstanding of the VE program, and allows OPA’s Virtual Enterprise business program to bealigned with other participating middle schools. Various regional Virtual Enterprise school programs (95% are participating high schools) willprovide booths where our students can view and purchase (with virtual/pretend funds) thevarious products each school has created to sell as a business within the Virtual Enterpriseprogram. After our participation as visitors/attendees of the trade show, we will take a brief tour of themajor buildings on the campus of San Diego State University, including the bookstore andcafeteria/eating areas for lunch.

The cost of this opportunity is $45. This covers transportation. This is not a fundraising event.If we are unable to cover the cost of the trip it may have to be canceled or rescheduled.
