Playgrounds are one of the most important places in a child’s world. A playground provides an exciting hive of opportunity where children get the chance to play, socialize, exercise, and have fun. 

However, at our school, South Elementary, our playground has become a safety hazard and all three play structures have been condemned (see photos). Our students miss their space where imagination grows and relationships develop. While we are working to fundraise as a school community, along with volunteers dismantling the old playground, we need your help to accomplish our goal of providing our students with a new playground. Take a look at our desired new structure! Happiness is just a slide away. Please help us set a foundation for fun at South Elementary.
