As we approach the season of gratitude and togetherness, the Belgrade School Board is hosting a free Thanksgiving Dinner, aimed at providing a warm and wholesome meal to those in need within our beloved community.

We, at the Belgrade School District, strongly believe in fostering an environment of care, compassion, and inclusivity. Our goal is to ensure that every member of our community can enjoy the spirit of Thanksgiving, regardless of their financial circumstances. By organizing this dinner, we aim to bring joy and nourishment to individuals and families who may be facing hardships and challenges.

The funds raised will be utilized to purchase ingredients, essential supplies, and any additional resources required to prepare a delightful and fulfilling Thanksgiving meal. This is the third year we have served a free Thanksgiving meal to our community members. Participation doubled last year, in which we served 500 meals. We are providing a sit-down meal this year to provide a meal as well as a sense of community. Our goal is to increase participation by 25% this November.

On behalf of the Belgrade School District Trustees and the entire community, we sincerely hope that you will consider joining hands with us in this endeavor. Together, we can bring smiles to the faces of those less fortunate and create lasting memories of gratitude, compassion, and unity.  May this Thanksgiving season be a time of joy, reflection, and spreading kindness throughout our community.

Any excess funds at the end of the event will be given to the Belgrade School Distrect Family Liasion program to assist families in transition with meals, transportation, clothing, personal care items, and other such needs.
