Miss DeNardis and her kindergarten class will use specific STEM materials purchased from Lakeshore Learning to guide them through problem solving skills using common fairy tales.   

     Students will work cooperatively in small groups to enhance their problem solving skills.  STEM projects are becoming more and more a part of our curriculum, and for the younger aged students using fairy tales to introduce them to the problem solving process will help!  Plus- the students will all have fun doing it!

     This project will purchase Set 1 and Set 2 STEM kits, each with three fairy tales.  Guided lesson plans and materials are provided in each kit.  the $350 we are looking for covers the cost of both kits from Lakeshore Learning online, as well as the shipping cost to send them to our school.
