Help the Northeast Early College Boys Soccer team raise much needed funds to support their competitive athletics program. Northeast Early College High School is a Title 1 school with all students qualifying for free/reduced lunch. Additionaly we a large population of recent arrival immigrant/refugee students from all over the world. These demographics are well reflected on the Boys Soccer Team. We have students from countries such as Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, Congo, Tanzania, Afganistan, Thailand, and of course the United States. For many of these student-athletes it is their first time playing on an organized team. We have many needs and little support (no booster club).
With the funds raised through this giving campaign we intend to provide our student-athletes with an equitable playing experience to that of their more affluent peers. This means providing player equipment (cleats, shinguards, socks, etc.) practice/game equipment (balls, cones, nets, small goals, etc.) and even providing snacks & meals before our games which do not start until 7:45pm at night. We, Coaches, even provide transportation when necessary as often players need rides home after practices/games.
Our Boys Soccer team has qualified for playoffs the past three years and we inspire to keep our program one of the most competitive and successful in Central Texas. This will not happen without your support. Please consider making a donation to support our campaign as I assure you, no school in our region has students who love soccer more than ours.I truly believe soccer is not only for the affluent who can afford to play but is a game for the people, all people, from all over. Soccer is the world's game and we represent the world! Please help us make all of this come true, thank you!
