Did you know that Temple High School was one of the first schools in Texas to offer the IB Diploma Programme? For over 30 years, THS students have embraced the challenges and rewards of this rigorous curriculum, becoming critical thinkers and compassionate leaders in Temple and communities around the world. THS IB alumni have attended universities such as Princeton, Harvard, and Rice; other alumni are now living in places such as Soeul, South Korea or London, England; countless are serving their local communities as physicians, artists, attorneys, and business owners/leaders.

In celebrating the past, we also look to the future and invite you to join us in enhancing our program through this fundraising campaign aimed at continuing the legacy of our IB House System, hosting community-building IB lunches, and organizing a memorable Christmas banquet to honor our recent IB diploma recipients.

Why We Need Your Support:

1. House System Implementation: Our House System has been an incredible tool to build community and camaraderie among our IB students. By creating smaller, supportive groups, we aim to foster teamwork, encourage friendly competition, and promote IB and school spirit. Your contributions will help us set up this system with fun activities, prizes, and events.

2. IB Lunches: These lunches will serve as an opportunity for students to connect with peers and teachers outside of an academic setting. By funding these gatherings, we will provide a place for collaboration and friendship, making the IB journey even more enriching.

3. Christmas Banquet: Our students work tirelessly towards their IB diplomas, and we want to celebrate their achievements in a special way. This banquet will honor recent graduates' hard work and perseverance and celebrate the work of current students.
