Inspired by the Ron Clark Academy House System, the Waxhaw Elementary School House Initiative is our school wide endeavor to create a culture of enthusiasm and belonging among our students and staff. Each student is part of a designated group or house. These smaller groupings allow for relationships and support to be built across grade levels. We focus on our Essential 11 Traits to guide expectations and encourage success.   Monthly house meetings and quarterly assemblies are a few of the events that bring our school family together.  Contributions to this fundraising campaign will be used to  purchase rewards for students, fund professional development for teachers and sponsor house spirit events for students and staff.  Our goal is to bolster the social, emotional & academic well being of our students, fostering their sense of value and success.
