Brooke Elementary writing scores have been increasing in the past couple of year after being dismally low. One of the things we have found that has helped students is when they write for a purpose. Brooke students have been working in problem based projects for the past year. Students have come up with their own ideas of problems that need to be solved. We started using videocasting or videoblogging to help students share and communicate their ideas. Students have been interested in the podcasting ideas and we are in need of equipment ot help students write their blogs and to be able to podcast them.
