Our charging and courtesy meal policies are in place to ensure no student goes without a balanced meal, regardless of their account balance or payment status. This initiative allows members of the community to contribute funds to help cover the negative balance of student meal accounts.

I remember not being allowed on the bus and having to walk to elementary school because my mother could not pay the bill on time, and not having enough money on my school account to buy lunch. The embarrassment was worse than the not having. That was 56 years ago, so nothing much has changed for poor children.
