A. C. Stelle Middle School Music Fundraiser

Dear A. C. Stelle Middle School Music Family and Friends:

We are fortunate to offer a vibrant music experience at A. C. Stelle, which supports young musicians in their passion for singing and/or playing an instrument. Our program provides students with a positive and encouraging community that fosters collaboration, teamwork, and leadership. Thank you so much for taking the time to view our fundraiser page. Your support will help us continue to offer a high quality experience for all students in the ACS Music Program.

Why are donations necessary?

The pandemic and quarantine has put a financial strain on our budget. Now more than ever, we need your generous support of our program so we can continue to provide a high level of music education for our students. Our goal is to raise the funds to support the A. C. Stelle Middle School Music Program and it’s students.

Our program is funded through PFC donations, LVUSD, ticket sales, and our annual Fall Sponsorship Drive. We are grateful for the continued support of both PFC and LVUSD! However, due to the pandemic, we decided to put off our normal Fall Sponsorship Drive to allow our music community to analyze their individual situations before looking to contribute to the program. Additionally, we no longer have live performance ticket sales to help fund the program. We understand you may not be able to make your normal contribution at this time, but every donation goes to an enriched musical experience when we eventually return to in-person for each young musician.

How are my donations used?

Raising money for the performing arts is vital for the continued high level and dynamic of education and success our program deserves. The funds generated through this sponsorship drive will help with the purchases and operating costs necessary to maintain a high quality music program. Some of our desired purchases/expenditures with approximate values (please note these estimates already are minus any money we receive from PFC and LVUSD) include:

Coaches ($10,000)

Piano accompanists for the choir for festivals and concerts ($1,000)

Piano Tuning ($300)

1 Eastman Cello ($551)

Yamaha Xylophone ($1,540)

Ludwig 23” Timpani ($2,385)

Your support helps us pay for the additional coaching with professional music specialists. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine our students are attending classes virtually making the time they spend with their professional music coaches even more valuable. Even though we are constrained by distance learning, we hope to have more coaches working more hours with students. Unfortunately, for this past semester we already had to cut back both on specialists and hours. Without your support we may need to reduce our music coaches for this semester more and for the future.

How can you help beyond donating?

If you could please spread the word about our fundraiser by sharing it with your friends via email or social media we would greatly appreciate it. Underneath our image logo above there is a “Share this Campaign” section with easy links as well as a copyable link to share.
