Celebrating the FREADom to Read!

Please help us gift to our students popular, diverse book titles that have been the subject of recent censorship challenges around the country.

Campaign ends on May 10, 2022 Campaign ended on May 10, 2022

In response to the recent rise in book challenges around the country, we want to shine a light on these well-written, well-reviewed book titles that represent the ethnic, racial, cultural, gender- and sexuality-inclusive diversity of our students and our community as a whole.

We are planning a celebration with food, special guests, and more. Students can earn an invitation to the event by writing an essay on the importance of diversity in books. At the event, the students will be able to self-select books to keep from these diverse titles as their reward.

We hope that our fundraising will allow us to purchase a great number of books and host a wonderful celebration for our students.
