The students of Eastside Memorial High School (EMHS) and International High School (IHS) are currently preparing for the annual Panther Adopt-A-Child Celebration. This campus-wide event will allow EMHS and IHS students to serve their community through giving, while also learning valuable lessons about teamwork and building relationships. Each advisory/homeroom class will adopt a child, and students and teachers will spend the next month volunteering and fundraising to purchase gifts and food for a holiday celebration that will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. We are expecting to adopt approximately 50 elementary students this year, and we are seeking sponsors to make financial donations to go towards the purchase of gifts and food for the celebration. We are also seeking donations of toys/games, clothing items, and shoes for children between the ages of 4 and 12. If you are giving on behalf of a teacher or student, please provide their name and your donation will go towards their individual class goal. Unspecified donations will be used to offest general costs and purchase additional gifts.

As a former teacher, I know the integrity of these Eastside students. ( formerly Ms Crenshaw).
PAWS UP!
I'm looking forward to seeing the smiling faces of all the children this event will positively impact!
Because I miss that crowd.
