The Fremd Wrestling season began Monday, November 6th. The Fremd Vikings will have more than 80 wrestlers in the program for the 2024-25 season. We kick our season off on Tuesday, November 21st with the Huntley, Lake Zurich, and Grayslake Central quad at Grayslake Central. 

We are asking each wrestler to reach out to their biggest supporters for possible donations for the season. Below you will see our Wish List. Each wrestler has a goal of raising $300. We understand that times may be tough for some, so any donation would be extremely helpful to provide the best experience possible for our student-athletes. All Fremd wrestlers who reach their goal will get Fremd Wrestling merchandise of their choice.

Wish List/Expenses:

-       Senior Night Ceremony (posters, awards, framed certificates)

-       All Off-Season Commitment Team (awards, framed certificates, t-shirts)

-       Awards Night (food & beverages for wrestlers, awards, manager’s presents)

-       Program bonding activities

-       Wrestling shoes (some wrestlers who may not have their own shoes)

-       Postseason t-shirts for  (shirts for all wrestlers that finish the season through the postseason)

-       State qualifier shirts for Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Frosh/Soph (wrestlers)

-       Gatorade nutrition (daily pre/post practice and competition nutrition)

-       Dopamineo Training Bands

-       Overnight On The Water Tournament in Oshkosh, WI

Olympic Champion Donation: $300      

World Champion Donation: $100    

NCAA Champion Donation: $50
