The LBJ-LASA Booster Club is excited to launch our 2019/20 fundraising drive to help give a critical "boost" to the LBJ High School Orchestra program. 

The LBJ High School Orchestra program serves 200 students — both new and experienced musicians — in five different performing ensembles. The program provides exceptional music education for students, inspiring the next generation of musicians and music lovers.

Offering this high level of educational opportunity for this many students requires more funding than the school district can provide. This year's funding campaign will support a number of important orchestra program needs, including:

• the purchase of new instruments
• transportation costs to concerts and other orchestra program events off campus
• purchasing dinner for students before evening concerts
• hiring music tutors for students
• community building events
• scholarships to help all students, regardless of financial ability, attend the spring orchestra trip.
