Wichita Heights High School is raising funds to complete the "Fallen Falcon Veteran Memorial and Gold Star Family Pavilion."
This outdoor classroom and memorial pavilion will honor ten Heights High School alumni who proudly served our country during war time and paid the ultimate sacrifice. It will be a multi-purpose area for the school, serving as an outdoor classroom on nice weather days, an AFJROTC Raider Challenge base, and a meeting space that can be reserved. It will also serve as a place of reflection for our Falcon Families and Community to use when school is not in session.
The project goal of $195,000 will cover all costs for the project including but not limited to, the building structure, concrete, electrical, granite memorial and labor. The outdoor classroom was conceptualized as a collaboration between Heights faculty, alumni, and family members of the honored fallen.
