As you may have heard, it is tradition for Becker 5th Graders to attend Camp Champions. Along with a crew of phenomenal staff/volunteers, our 5th graders load up the buses and head out to the Texas Hill Country for a little taste of camp life. Camp Champions offers a 3-day/2-night life enriching experience that takes learning out of the school building and into nature.

This is a once in a lifetime experience for many children. Camp Champions will take place in May - which will be here before you know it!  The cost for our 5th graders to attend camp plus the bus ride there is $200 per student. We want to ensure that every 5th grader can attend this special trip. It may be too costly for a number of families. That’s why we need your support. We are seeking any amount of donation so this adventure to make lifelong memories is possible for everyone. Please indicate Camp Champions with your donated amount. All donations are tax deductible. What is Camp Champions?

Camp Champions is based in Marble Falls, Texas and ranks as one of the best camps in the nation. A main focus of the trip is about building self-confidence, fostering leadership skills, and promoting teamwork through outdoor sports/learning activities (archery, fishing bonfires/storytelling, insect/plant/start spotting, etc.) and challenging individual and teamwork activities (e.g., ropes courses).  For more information about Camp Champions, visit www.campchampions.com.
