On Saturday, April 29, 2017 the playground at Oak Springs Elementary in East Austin was destroyed by fire. The school was not damaged, but the playscape was destroyed and is deemed structurally unsafe.

Oak Springs School is rich in families who work hard and care deeply that their children succeed. It will always be my favorite Austin school. I donate in memory of many students who went on to greatness from this humble campus.
