Research shows students need exposure to a wide variety of high-quality books to acquire the literacy skills needed to succeed in school and life. That means a lot of books on numerous topics, in different genres, and representing a range of perspectives. Uplift Education is the largest, FREE public charter school network in North Texas.   

Our 43 schools serve 22,000 students in PreK – 12th grades across the D/FW Metroplex.  

Each school provides free, college-preparatory education in communities with limited school choice options.  

80% of our students qualify for the federal Free or Reduced Lunch program, but the economic circumstances of their families do not limit their potential or success.  The 865 seniors in our Class of 2020 were accepted to more than 570 different colleges and earned more than $115 million in scholarships and grants.  78% are the first in their family to attend college.
