Welcome to the 2023 HEHS Baseball season!!!

We are excited to launch our fundraising campaign for our baseball program to meet and hopefully exceed our financial goals this year.  In years past we have been able to properly equip, feed, and cloth our student-athletes with the help of friends, family, and community members associated with the HEHS Baseball program.  In the past we have been able to raise funds for player jackets, game hats, training apparel, and senior day banquet food and gifts for the players and families of our program.    

This year is a special and exciting year for us as we as a program take the 1st (of hopefully many) spring baseball trip out west to play in the "Silver Streaks" invitational at Galesburg High School in Galesburg Illinois.  The 2 day round robin tournament which includes team such as Lincoln-Way Central, Dixon, and Andrew High School will be held March 24th and 25th.  The boys have worked so hard on and off the field the last few seasons in order to make this dream become a reality.  

 This is an exciting time in the program’s history as this is the 1^st time since the school was opened in 1973 that an athletic program has been allowed to take an overnight trip (non-post season) to compete in their respective sport.  We as a staff have worked hard the last 5 years with the district and our athletic department to create an awesome opportunity for our student-athletes to play in an early season tournament against some great competition we would normally not play.  With the support from donors like you the baseball team will be able to give our kids the baseball experience of a lifetime while learning life lessons through the game we love!

We as a program have set a goal of raising $8000 and will work tirelessly to meet and exceed our financial goals.  We thank you for all of your support and hope to see you all out at the ballpark this spring.  Have a great day and GO HAWKS!
