When PVSD schools shut down last spring, the Food Services staff worked through the pandemic to provide over 61,500 breakfast meals and over 60,000 lunches to the children of Camarillo between March and August.
The need is real. Due to these unprecedented times we are all experiencing across the globe, many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity for the first time in their lives. We, at PVSD, are launching a fundraising campaign to provide 150 complete holiday meals to PVSD families this Holiday Season. I am asking for your support to feed our neighbors. Just a small donation of any amount can help us accomplish this goal.
Your entire donation will go toward the purchase of 150 complete meals for a household of four.

To help families in need
We gave because many families are in need during these extremely challenging times. The things that my family and I might want and don't need are the very things that families in many communities most definitely need. We are happy to help.
So many people are struggling right now, I hope this helps just a bit.
Because I have faith and hope in my community that if I were ever in a situation in which I were unable to provide for my family, the most necessary things for them to thrive, that my community would come through for me in my time of need.
