When PVSD schools shut down last spring, the Food Services staff worked through the pandemic to provide over 61,500 breakfast meals and over 60,000 lunches to the children of Camarillo between March and August.
The need is real. Due to these unprecedented times we are all experiencing across the globe, many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity for the first time in their lives. We, at PVSD, are launching a fundraising campaign to provide 150 complete holiday meals to PVSD families this Holiday Season. I am asking for your support to feed our neighbors. Just a small donation of any amount can help us accomplish this goal.
Your entire donation will go toward the purchase of 150 complete meals for a household of four.

I feel fortunate to have a job in these unprecedented times. Our holiday dinner will be much smaller, so I can share what I won't use. Some of these families are desperate for food and we need to acknowledge that.
