Austin ISD welcomes children impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Austin ISD is enrolling children impacted by Hurricane Harvey that have evacuated to Austin. The number of enrollees expected is unknown, but we are preparing for the possibility of thousands of students.
Donating to the Austin Ed Fund Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund will provide school supplies, clothing, basic needs and financial support for students enrolling in Austin ISD campuses. Austin ISD’s Project Help program will coordinate this program and is also accepting gift cards for evacuees. Gift cards may be delivered to Laurie Lopez, AISD Baker Center, 3908 Avenue B, 78751. To learn more about Project Help, visit https://www.austinisd.org/project-help.

Displacement from your home, school or community, regardless of circumstances is an overwhelming, traumatic experience that may take a lifetime to overcome, especially in children. I hope to relieve some of that burden and hopefully bless a few. Thanks and prayers for all.
To give hurricane victims a sense of normalcy back. I want these families to feel at home and welcome in the City of Austin.
Our hearts go out to the families affected by this hurricane.
School is where students should feel like life is going on and they can progress in social, sports and educational activities.
Want to help these kids to find success and stability by enrolling in school.
