Kent Gardens Elementary School's "One & Done" Fundraiser
Our 2018 Goal: Raise $50,000 in 50 Days
"One & Done" is the main fundraiser at Kent Gardens and it's just like it sounds... You make one contribution and you're done! When you contribute to "One & Done," you help Kent Gardens Elementary remain an exciting, vibrant, and thriving school. Your contribution will help purchase new stations for the NEW playground, provide laptops for upper grades, offer teacher training and state-of-the-art educational materials for classrooms, award scholarships so all students can participate in school activities, and purchase supplies our school needs.

The suggested contribution is $150 per family but any amount is greatly appreciated. WHAT IS "ONE & DONE"?
The "One & Done" fundraising campaign is the main fundraiser at Kent Gardens Elementary and it's just like it sounds... You make one contribution and you're done! "One & Done" is a convenient way for families to support the school and our kids' education by meeting the fundraising goal early in the year. With a successful campaign, the PTA is able to reduce other fundraising efforts and stop bugging you for money!
HOW ARE "ONE & DONE" FUNDS USED?
In 2017, the PTA purchased new laptops for all 5th graders. This year, in addition to laptops, we want to purchase additional stations for the NEW Kent Gardens playground. We will also apply the funds to support educational enrichment (author visits, cultural arts assemblies), teacher training, state-of-the-art educational materials and books, improvements to school grounds, and classroom supplies.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ACHIEVE OUR GOAL?
We celebrate!!! Last year, Principal McGuigan and Vice Principal Rose were duct taped to the wall outside of the main office. We are still brain storming what we'll do this year. Dunk tank? Kiss a goat? Duct tape again?
The class with the highest level of class participation will receive a pizza party and the teacher of that class will receive a $250 gift card to spend on his/her class.
