Thank you for your interest in the Loma Verde Elementary School Fun Run.

Mark  your calendars!  This year’s Fun Run will be on Friday, October 6th from 9:30AM-12:30PM, and boy do we have some tricks up our sleeve this year!  The Fun Run is one of Loma Verde’s biggest and most fun PTO fundraisers of the year. The event is a healthy way for all LV students to show their school spirit and help raise money for our school. This year’s fundraising goal is $30,000.  In the past two years, our kids completely knocked it out of the park, raising well over our fundraising goals. Every year we challenge the students to a 100% participation goal, and they have been getting closer and closer each year.  Students will need to ask friends, family, and neighbors to support them with pledges. The funds raised will go towards a number of school resources such as classroom supplies, field trips, art, garden, and campus beautification.  This year the money raised by the 5th grade class will go directly towards their Outdoor Ed. trip.  

Our hope is for each student to help us reach our goal by bringing in a minimum of $40 in pledges.  All students who bring in at least $10 in donations will be eligible for prizes.  Students will get 1 ticket for every $10 brought in, and 2 tickets for every person they get a donation from.  Some exciting things for the kids to look forward to if we meet our goal of $30,000: 

• Top earners from each class will participate in making Mrs Cheema into a human ice cream sundae.  
• A popsicle party for each classroom that has 100% class participation in donations
• An ice cream party for the class that earns the most money.
• The top three classes to earn the most money will get to whip cream  and sprinkle or silly string their teachers.

​In addition, there are a number of other amazing prizes that will be raffled off.  Each student will receive a Fun Run t-shirt for participation.

1st Grade: 9:50-10:10AM

2nd Grade:  10:15-10:35AM

BREAK

3rd Grade:  11:00-11:20AM

4th Grade:  11:25-11:50AM

5th Grade:  12:00-12:25PM

All donations due by October 6th.
