The Mooresville Online Academy Read-A-Thon is a fundraiser where our students will track the minutes that they read from February 21st to March 11th.  Each donor can choose to sponsor a student(s) with per-minute pledges or a flat donation.  Students will be given time during the school day to work on reaching their goal.  Reading at home with a family member is also highly encouraged.

Students will be provided with a Reading Log to track the books and number of minutes they read.  They will also be provided with a Pledge Sheet to track donor information along with collection status.  At the close of the fundraiser, students will notify sponsors of the amount that is owed for per minute pledges.  Digital donations can be made through the Livingtree site via a Paypal Account.  Cash and check donations are also accepted and will be collected by the student.
