Becker Elementary is more than just a school—it’s a vibrant, dual language campus where students learn in both English and Spanish while growing in a rich culture of inclusion, curiosity, and community. Our community is known for its tight-knit, welcoming environment where we work hard to ensure each student is seen, valued, and supported. Our school is passionate about integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) throughout the day, empowering students with skills to manage emotions, build relationships, and thrive.
Our staff and families work tirelessly to serve our students—not just academically, but as whole people. And no matter the challenge, we strive to work together and create a place where children feel safe, celebrated, and inspired to learn.
But right now, Becker needs our help.
The school is currently facing a spending freeze and district budget cuts have resulted in the loss of 2 positions at Becker for the 25-26 school year—with more reductions looming. These cuts are already straining our ability to provide essential resources for our teachers and enrichment environement for our students. Further losses in our budget jeopardize the very programs and support systems that make Becker so special.
This campaign aims to raise emergency funds to:
Sustain our dual language program
Support our teachers and staff who go above and beyond every day
Provide supplies, instructional support and professional development for our staff
Ensure equity and access for all Becker students
Becker’s strength lies in its inclusive spirit, its supportive community, and its shared commitment to our dual language program. If you’re part of the Becker community—or simply believe in the value of equitable, bilingual education—please consider donating today directly supporting the students and educators who make Becker thrive.
Every dollar helps. Every child matters. And every voice counts.
Let’s stand together to uplift Becker Elementary.
Thank you for being part of our story.
