Thanks to contributions from our friends, families, and District 211, the Saxon Marching Band was able to purchase new raincoats last spring to outfit 135 students! Our old raincoats date back to 2003, and we are now looking to update our complete inventory. Raincoats keep our students dry and warm through all the elements of the marching season and will help extend the life of our new uniforms. Each custom designed raincoat costs approximately $115, and donations will go toward the purchase of new raincoats for the Saxon Marching Band.

Additionally, the SHS Band Boosters are committed to ensuring all interested students have the opportunity to take private lessons on their instrument. Students in financial need are eliglbe to receive lessons at 50% of the normal rate, subsidized by the SHS Band Boosters. Several of our students are part of the SHS Band Boosters' lesson assistance program, including students who are learning a new instrument to help fill a need within the bands. Donations can be made to sponsor a student's lessons for a month, semester, or full school year.
