This is a SURPRISE, so please do not let Sue know about this. We want to share this with her at the Leadership Lawrence graduation on April 29th.
Sue has built a lifetime around educating others, from her time as a teacher to the present as the Executive Director of Leadership Lawrence. To celebrate her, the Leadership Lawrence class of 2022 is launching this campaign to help raise money to endow a scholarship honoring Sue with the Lawrence Schools Foundation. The plan is to award 1 recipient a year with $500 for their outstanding academic work and demonstration of leadership. Your donation will go directly to fund the endowment and scholarships.
Thank you for your support!
A fantastic woman who has contributed so much to our Lawrence Community.
This donation is made on behalf of Ellen Young. She thinks highly of both Sue and her husband Al.
I had heard of Sue around town through various events and fundraisers she attended that I had volunteered at. When I finally got to ‘officially’ meet her through Leadership Lawrence, Class of 2022 (the GOAT), she was far beyond her wonderful reputation. She has touched so many lives across Lawrence and Douglas County, including my own, and this scholarship is the absolute smallest token of our appreciation. Sue is everything a leader should aspire to be and she is so loved.
No one more deserving than Sue Hack. She gives generously to the Lawrence community, and continues to be a leader and amazing friend to many.
Great idea LL'22! Can't wait until the scholarship is revealed!
As a member of the Leadership Lawrence class of 2022 I have had the privilege of getting to know Sue. She has given so much to our community. We are lucky to have her!
