Reading during the summer is essential for students in the elemnetary grades. The research has shown that it is the simplest, most effective way to prevent summer learning loss. Please help us provide books for all our Summitt Eagles this summer.

In the summer of 2018 we piloted this program at Summitt and the feedback has been very positive. We would like to continue providing books for our students to read over the summer, but we need help financing this endeavor.

Along with new books for each student this program includes story times over the summer and opportunities for the students to swap books with each other.
