Welcome to this year's 2nd grade field trip where students get to become a Zoo Explorer for the Day! This ties into our Science Unit on Plant and Animals. Zoo educational staff will introduce students to their roles as explorers through a presentation. Students are given rules and directions and then practice their observation skills throughout the zoo. As they explore, they will find stations featuring a different habitat or animal. After each station has been visited, students receive a stamp in their program map. We will be leaving school around 9am and returning around 1:30pm. Students will need to  bring a sack lunch and we will be eating at the Zoo. 

 

We are asking for a donation of $34 per student to cover the cost of this trip. It includes transportation to and from the zoo along with the Zoo Explorer program.
